- You cannot steal from business storages/ledgers, or try to rob them from business workers. This includes stealing from a business you are employed by.

- Staff HIGHLY recommends all players to have and utilize some sort of recording software for interactions with other players. (SteelSeries Moments, Medal.TV, Game Bar, OBS)
- Don’t DM Staff. If something happens within the server, keep it within the server. Staff are people just like everyone else who have lives outside of RP. Open a ticket and staff can handle it.
Server Rules
When it comes down to scenarios in a “gray area” of the rules for player reports, staff will side with the role-play.
Roleplay Guidelines & Rules
1. Core Principles of Roleplay
Roleplay over Gunplay
- Goal: Create storylines from every encounter.
- Interactions Before Violence: Meaningful interactions are required before initiating any attack. Avoid shallow setups, like a quick remark followed by violence.
- Alternative Conflict Resolutions: Killing ends the roleplay opportunity for others. Try holding someone up, kidnapping, injuring, or other actions that add to the story for all involved.
Fear Roleplay / Value for Life (NVL)
- Always Value Life: When facing life-threatening situations, act as if your life is at risk.
- Avoid “Hero” Behavior: In outnumbered situations, realistic self-defense is encouraged only if an opportunity presents itself naturally.
- Gun Threats: Holding a gun at someone doesn’t mean they must surrender automatically; they should assess the situation realistically.
- Report Incidents: Report gunshots or suspicious behavior to the law instead of rushing in.
2. Communication Expectations
- Mic Requirement: A microphone is required to play, and English must be spoken to ensure staff can oversee interactions effectively.
- Special Requests: Players with medical issues affecting speech or who wish to roleplay as deaf/mute can request staff approval.
3. Combat Rules
Random Deathmatch (RDM) & Kill on Sight (KOS)
- Avoid Random Violence: Engage in adequate roleplay before initiating combat.
- Purpose and Motive: Ensure there’s a clear reason for conflict, avoiding random violence for the sake of it.
- NPC Interactions: Treat NPCs as if they’re other players; killing locals with no interaction is RDM.
- Vehicle Deathmatch (VDM)
- Using Vehicles as Weapons: Only harm others with your vehicle after legitimate interaction.
4. Immersive Roleplay Requirements
Power gaming
- No Abuse of Game Mechanics: Exploiting bugs for advantage, such as canceling animations, avoiding inventory loss, or fleeing with glitched items, is prohibited.
- Report Bugs: If you find a bug, report it in a ticket.
- Specific Restrictions:
- No exploiting in menus: Don’t rob or shoot while in any menu.
- Transport responsibly: Don't teleport inventory between locations via stables.
- Weapons: Concealed carry is allowed only with specific weapons or under certain clothing conditions.
- Avoid exploits with timing: No criminal activity within 30 minutes before or 15 minutes after a server restart.
Fail RP
- Keep Actions in Character: Avoid unrealistic behavior, like running to gunfire or using supernatural elements.
- Respect Situational Limits: Avoid excessive taunting of downed players, staging hostage situations, and failure to roleplay injuries realistically.
- Prohibited Actions: Avoid modern slang and language, and don’t role-check other players in character.
5. Metagaming and Outsourced Information
- In-Game Knowledge Only: Using out-of-character (OOC) knowledge, such as third-party calls or streams, is prohibited.
- Discord Limitations: Messages from external Discords can’t be used in-character unless it’s from a designated server channel.
- Character Boundaries: No sharing items or funds between your characters, and no writing “wills” between characters.
6. Vigilantism Policy
- No Interference in Law Matters: Let law enforcement handle crimes and avoid inserting yourself into ongoing law and crime conflicts.
- Attention Baiting: Don’t stage fake crimes to lure or distract law enforcement.
7. Avoiding Combat Logging & Medical Roleplay Rules
- Stay Engaged During Roleplay: Don’t log off or respawn during active scenes unless completely necessary.
8. Out of Character (OOC)
- Remain in Character: Stay true to your role and avoid referencing out-of-character information in-game.
- Restricted Language: Avoid “spiritually” (OOC reference) and refrain from discussing other characters as “cousins.”
- Keep IC and OOC feelings separate; IC disagreements don’t reflect OOC feelings.
- Avoid letting OOC feelings impact your IC actions and vice versa.
- Remember that characters disliking each other is different from players disliking each other.
9. No Toxic Behavior:
- Avoid toxic interactions with other community members.
- Refrain from sending toxic DMs if a roleplay scenario didn’t go your way.
- Do not engage in toxic behavior in others' streams or chats.
- Public Comments and Toxicity:
- Refrain from negative or toxic comments about the server on public forums, like Discord, as it may lead to discipline.
- Excessive Violence:
- Do not engage in excessive violence toward downed players (e.g., mutilating body parts).
Roleplay Boundaries and Behavior
- RP Bleed:
- Maintain a strict separation between IC actions and OOC relationships.
- Keep communications in character and within the game setting.
- Revenge Roleplay:
- If killed in a roleplay scene, avoid the area and aggressors for 60 minutes.
- The cooldown applies only to the victim; aggressors cannot target the victim repeatedly.
- Hostile RP initiated by an aggressor towards the same person requires a 2-hour cooldown.
Robbery & Griefing
- Robbery Limits:
- Take only half of each item stack in someone’s inventory (single items can be taken whole).
- Choose to either rob or kill, but not both. This includes robbing horses or wagons.
- Backpacks and handbags can be taken along with their contents.
- Handling Items During Robbery:
- Do not return items solely to justify a kill, claiming it wasn’t robbery.
- While being robbed, roleplay fear for your life as your character would.
- Item Restrictions:
- Do not take property keys, doctor keys, train keys, or law keys.
- Limit robbing to two stacks of items and two weapons, or four stacks if no weapons are taken.
- Custom items like recipe books cannot be taken.
- Cooldowns:
- Wait 2 hours before robbing the same player, their horses, or wagons (includes unsuccessful attempts).
- Horse/Wagon Robbery:
- Items from horse or wagon bags can be taken, with roleplay interaction first.
- No limits on what can be taken from a wagon or horse.
- Fleeing a horse or wagon solely to prevent item loss is power gaming.
Identification Rules
- Voice Identification:
- You cannot identify a masked player by voice alone. Use other traits, like scars, clothing, or horses.
- Accent cannot be used for identification.
- Multiple Characters:
- Respect players who use the same voice across different characters. If a player insists they’re a different character, treat them as such.
Body Disposal and Evidence Management
- No Water Dumping:
- Do not dispose of bodies in water.
- Double Dropping:
- Don’t move a body after a doctor has been called; however, you may observe the scenario from a distance without interfering.
- 30-Minute Rule:
- If no interaction occurs within 30 minutes, respawn; you cannot be “magically” found after this time.
- Seeing the Light:
- Exploiting respawn mechanics to avoid consequences is considered power gaming.
Hogtie and Restraint Rules
- Breaking Free:
- Do not break free from ropes unless a player performs /me “loosens ropes” and leaves, or if unattended for 5+ minutes.
- You may cut the rope if you’re being dragged.
- Avoiding Restraints:
- Do not use the "Z" key to avoid being hogtied, as this is power gaming.
- Once hogtied or bola’d, surrendering or breaking free is prohibited.
- No Abandoning Handcuffs:
- Do not leave a player handcuffed and unattended.
New Life Rule - Respawning
- Memory Wipe:
- Respawning at a local doctor results in memory loss of the scenario, erasing events 30 minutes before death.
- While unconscious, your character cannot remember anything they see or hear, but groaning or confused responses are acceptable.
- Exceptions for Revivals:
- If revived by a player or NPC doctor, memory before unconsciousness is retained.
- Recording as “Memory”:
- Reviewing clips or recordings to recall events IC is not allowed.
- Headshots and Memory:
- Shooting a player’s head off does not force memory loss in any situation.
These are always subject to change without notice
